Florida in May

I had a two-week trip to Florida in May. I had some time to do some sketches while I was out there. I quite like the swampy environment around the edges of Lake Harris. Painting on Treasure Island beach in the blazing sun is quite difficult. The sand was pure white, which made aiming for particular colours harder. I hadn’t painted with sunglasses on before either, which brings a whole new set of challenges.
