Costumed Life Drawing: Ancient Greek

5 minute sketches, 6B Pencil

I’ve been attending figure drawing groups for years, but one I find quite fun is the Swashbuckling Cornwall’s Costumed Life drawing. They kind of cycle through various themes, Sci-fi, Victorian, Carnival, Fantasy and more. This session was Ancient Greek-themed, with a Hoplite and a Medusa. All the poses for these sessions are between 1 and 10 minutes, so getting all the information down can be quite challenging. I try to jump between using pencils and pens.

10 minute, 6B pencil.
